What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link carries a tag that tells the retailer you arrived from AnimeLashes. If you buy something, the retailer pays us a small percentage. The price you pay is normally identical to the price you would pay going direct.
Commission never decides a rating
A pair earns its place here on shape, comfort, how the band sits, how long it lasts, how easy it is to apply, and what it costs. A higher commission does not move a product up, and a product with no affiliate programme at all can still be the top pick.
Every review is written before any link goes in
The verdict is finished first. Links are added afterwards. A pair we rate poorly keeps its link if it is still the right pair for somebody, because the point of the link is convenience, not persuasion.
Samples are disclosed on the review itself
Most pairs are bought at normal retail price. When a brand sends one, the review says so at the top, in the same size text as everything else. A sample buys a test and nothing more. It does not buy coverage, a score, or a right of reply before publication.
No brand pays for a review or sees one first
AnimeLashes does not accept payment in exchange for a review, a ranking or a rating. No brand is shown a review before it is published. If that ever changes, any paid placement will be labelled as advertising, kept separate from editorial, and this page will say so.
Where you will see the disclosure
A short disclosure appears near the top of every review, comparison and buying guide that contains affiliate links, because a notice buried on a policy page is not good enough. The wording is:
