AnimeLashes publishes independent reviews and buying advice about false eyelashes for anime, cosplay and gyaru looks. AnimeLashes is the operator of this website and is responsible for the personal information described here.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics
AnimeLashes stores nothing on your device. There are no cookies, no local storage, no tracking pixels and no analytics service of any kind. Fonts are served from this website rather than a third party, so simply reading a page sends your details to nobody.
Because nothing optional is stored, there is no consent banner and nothing for you to switch off.
The only information we collect is what you type into a form
There are two forms on this site. Neither is required in order to read anything.
- The contact form collects your name, your email address, the subject you pick and your message.
- The newsletter form collects your email address.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through either form.
How that information is used
Contact form submissions are used to reply to you and to keep a record of the correspondence. Newsletter signups are used to let you know when new reviews and guides are published. Nothing is used to build a profile of you, and nothing is sold.
Our legal basis for processing
Where data protection law applies, we rely on your consent when you choose to submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in replying to messages and keeping the site secure. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your details.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the message to our inbox. The site itself is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server request information in order to serve pages. Those two providers are the only third parties involved.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Contact messages are kept for as long as the conversation is useful, and deleted when it is not. Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask to be removed. You can ask for either at any time and we will action it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
To make any of these requests, use the contact form. We publish no email address, so the form is the route in. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Links out to other websites
This site links to retailers and other websites, including affiliate links. Once you click through, that website decides what it collects and stores, under its own policy. See the Affiliate Disclosure and the Cookie Policy.
Children
This site is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children below the age at which consent is required where they live. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and holds no database of readers. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but there is very little here to expose.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, for example if analytics is added later, this page is updated before that change goes live and the date at the top changes with it.
